Weeping Water Public Schools is dedicated to every student receiving a high-quality education every day! Weeping Water is a 30-minute drive east of Lincoln or a 30-minute drive south of Omaha. Weeping Water's proximity to the state's two largest cities, along with the local limestone quarries and farming, makes for a unique environment for our students. Weeping Water also boasts:
A 4-day school week. Teachers have professional development or are off when school is not in session.
In-house childcare for children ages six weeks thru Prekindergarten. Teachers receive discounted childcare.
Tuition Reimbursement - WWPS funds staff pursuing additional certifications or degrees.
One-to-one initiative. Every Middle School and High School student is able to take a laptop home.
Modern facilities. Weeping Water completed a $12 million bond to renovate and add to the facility in 2015.
