The WWPS Music Dept. has had a busy spring. The MS Music Contest was held April 4. The students earned 38 Superiors including Vivace, 6th grade, MS choir & MS Band. The HS contest was April 25. The choir & band received Superiors along with 16 other events & 5 excellent ratings.

Baseball celebrated Parents Night with a win over Centennial Monday evening. Jaden led off the bottom of the 7th with a single which ended up to be the winning run in the contest. Districts begin on Thursday at Wayne at 5:00 #wwpride

PTO is asking for elementary students to bring items to contribute to class baskets for the Carnival Silent Auction. Each grade level has their own fun basket theme. Items are to be brought to classroom teachers by Friday, May 9th.

A HUGE thanks and Congrats 👏 to these 5th graders-Mrs. Ashley Wall's class-working so hard in the Hy-Vee Squat Challenge! They were one of the top 10 out of 750 schools competing and were also first place within a 60 mi radius of Memorial stadium earning them a trip a couple weeks ago for a special tour for their entire class. Hy-Vee also sent them, as a reward,all of these awesome items which will go home with each and every student of WWPS! 🥳🎉
