Senior class post #3!

The culinary arts students made food trucks for their final. We partnered with second grade for our customers! Culinary students made a business model, descriptive menus, and food! The second graders practiced reading a menu, decision making, and using money.

Nurse Kathie provided CPR/First Aid training (no certification) to MS JAG students. To reinforce learning, they practiced their skills on adult and infant mannequins, took a test, and walked around the school to identify locations for the AEDs. Thank you, Nurse Kathie!

Summer EBT helps kids who normally get free or reduced-price school meals access nutritious food during the summer.
Families may receive Summer EBT automatically if they're already enrolled in programs like SNAP, or they may need to apply through a straightforward online application.
Families can enjoy flexibility and choice in their food purchases. Recipients can use their EBT benefits like a debit card to buy food at grocery stores, supermarkets, and farmers' markets.
Benefits are available for each eligible school-age child in a household to ensure all children receive nutritious meals during the summer.
If you have questions email lhohn@weepingwaterps.org
