WWPS had 21 students recognized in the Music K8 magazine Cover contest. Today they received their certificates and a copy of their winning entry!

Several elementary students were honored for participating in the school musical "Bye, Bye, Birdie" and for being selected to participate in the Sing Around Nebraska Honor Choir.

The elementary PE students worked hard this year and many students earned their Physical Fitness Medals. Students could earn a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal based on their scores in 5 different events.

Schedule those school or sports physicals early so your child is ready when fall conditioning begins on Aug. 3; practices begin Aug. 10 and school starts Aug. 13. Forms will be available in both the main office and weight room for sports physicals #rolltribe

With summer lifting starting next week, fitness center hours will change starting Friday, May 22. The off-season is the most important season for success #rolltribe

Middle school concert & awards today at 2:00 in the auditorium.

JAG MS students toured the Cass County Sheriff's Office and Jail. Upon conclusion of the tour, students were able to sit in and check out the sheriff's car, wear drunk goggles while trying to walk a straight line or ride a tricycle, and try on a deputy's 38# loaded vest.

JAG MS students prepared food and served 150 meals at the Siena Francis Homeless Shelter in Omaha. Students realized how good it feels to help others in need and also how blessed they really are.

Sarpy/Cass County Health Dept presented emergency preparedness information to JAG MS/HS students. They learned what emergency preparedness is, how to best be ready for a variety of emergency scenarios, safety precautions, and next steps if they find themselves in an emergency.

Congratulations to all our students' achievements and honors this year including Jake & Kallie who were selected by coaches and sponsors to receive the James E. Moore Career Scholar Athlete Award. They are pictured with members of the Moore family #wwpride
