October is bullying prevention month. Everyone at WWPS works hard throughout the year to eliminate bullying in our school. If you see someone who is being bullied, step in. When bystanders to bullying intervene, bullying stops within 10 seconds 57 percent of the time.

Junior High Football practice will now resume Wednesday, September 30th after school.
The protocols put in place by WWPS eliminated high-risk exposures on school grounds and at school activities. THANK YOU to our staff, students, and parents for remaining vigilant in practicing our COVID safety protocols. (2 of 2)
An elementary with WWPS has tested positive for COVID-19. Parents whose child(ren) had a low-risk exposure were emailed earlier today. WWPS will follow up with a letter early next week. The school worked with the Sarpy/Cass Health Department to identify exposure. (1 of 2)
Junior High football practice will resume Thursday, Oct. 1st.
Next game is Monday, Oct. 5th at 4:30 in Weeping Water vs Cedar Bluffs followed by a JV game vs Lourdes Central Catholic at 6:00.
Change of schedule for tonight’s VB games. It will now be a JV/Varsity match with Louisville starting at 6:00 PM.
Cross Country parents night will take place between the JV and Varsity games. Parents, please be there at 6:30.

Top Girl Finisher for EM/WW was Sara K, followed by Treva W, Bri R, Liz H, Kenzie R, Dakota R, and Ceira D.
Top EM/WW boy finisher was Matt C, followed by Jaden T, Tucker O, Rylan P.
Ran the UNK HS invite today. 307 Finishers on the Boys side and 207 on the girls in Class C. As a team, the a very short handed Boys team finished 38th and the Girls finished 29th.
Congratulations to the JH girls volleyball team on their 1st place finish at the Louisville Tournament.
