The WWHS graduation will take place next Saturday (7/25). Due to the COVID situation, each graduate will be limited to 12 guests. Everyone will be required to wear a mask.
Due to the situation with COVID-19, the WWHS Prom scheduled for tomorrow (July 18) as been cancelled. Jrs and Srs should have received an email with this information earlier today. We share your disappointment having to cancel this milestone event.
The Sarpy/Cass Health Department has confirmed that a Weeping Water Public Schools student tested positive for COVID-19. The Sarpy/Cass Health Department has conducted an initial investigation of the case. If a Weeping Water Student had any significant contact with this student at school or at a school activity, you would have received an email indicating that earlier this afternoon with this information and recommendations from the health department. Please note that we are only aware of potential contact that would have occurred in our building. The Weeping Water Public School has an opening for an paraprofessional. This is a 9 month position with approximately 40 hours per week with partial benefits. The application may be downloaded at the link below. You may also pick up an application at the superintendent's office during school hours. The open gym for students scheduled for Sunday evenings has been cancelled.
Spectators of Summer League games: we are requiring you to wear a mask and stay on the walking track above the gym floor in the main gym. Masks are also required in the reserve gym while sitting in the bleachers. In both areas we ask you to try to social distance. This is for both your protection and all the players. Thank you for following our protocols.

The recording of Tuesday's Prom / Commencement Update is posted on the WWPS Facebook page. The Prom release form / royalty ballot were mailed Tuesday morning & are due back to the office by the 15th. Rehearsal for commencement is the 24th @11am.
