FCCLA members and Event Management students got to tour UNL's Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management department, the Scarlet Hotel, and meet with department faculty. They also got to get a behind the scenes tour of Round The Bend's event space and learn more about what it takes to be an event manager.

The Mixed Septet performed the National Anthem at the NSAA Class B Softball Championship game on Monday, October 21. The game was held at the Connie Claussen UNO field. Great representation for WWPS!

We are in need of an additional person to help with chains for Thursday evening's playoff football game at 6:00. Perks: free admittance to the game and an up close and personal view of the action


This week 7th & 8th grade HAL students competed at the MS HAL Science Olympiad at Gifford Farm. Events included tree identification, irrigation engineering, poultry division, and planetarium. They earned first (8th) and third (7th) places!










4th-6th HAL students competed in the Elementary Science Olympiad at Gifford Farm: egg drop, Nebraska trivia, poultry division, and planetarium. Having fun in the great outdoors and learning lots!
