JAG students from both WW and SDA interested in possibly a 4-year degree participated in a Regional College Visit/Tour to the University of Nebraska-Omaha. They learned about different programs of study and all the social/wellness amenities and resources offered, as well as experienced suite style campus living, the creative production lab, the iconic bell tower, and so much more.

Because school was cancelled last Friday, FBLA will continue accepting Eileen’s Cookie orders through Tuesday, January 27. Cookie delivery has been rescheduled for February 3. Thank you to everyone who has supported FBLA so far!
It's soup weather! Come support the WWPS Choir in their fundraising efforts for their trip to NYC to perform at Carnegie Hall in June.
The Sing Around Nebraska honor choir was held in Fremont on Saturday January 24. 18 Weeping Water 4th-6th grade students were part of the 329 voice choir. The students rehearsed throughout the day and presented a concert that afternoon for a packed house.
The 2026 Hastings Honor Choir was January 18, 19. It was a great 2 days of music-making. Weeping Water was represented by Jacob Cover, Talon Gilfert, & Tristan Baxter.
Last week in January activities
The Girls Wresting Invite is still on for Saturday starting at 9:30. Parents Night will be held during the break. Boosters will be serving up great food all day #wwpride
WWPS and Bright Arrows Childcare will be closed on Friday, January 23. No activities will be held. A decision regarding Saturday's girl's wrestling tournament will be made later today.
The Louisville Wrestling Invite has been cancelled for Friday, January 23rd
JAG students visited Merz Ink in Nebraska City to learn careers in graphic design, and how to wrap vehicles, do screen printing and embroidery work. Students picked out a t-shirt and screen printed on it.
