Today the Advance Biology class collected benthic organism samples to identify as part of the stream ecology unit. Students got a chance to get wet and muddy to find the many different examples of creek life below the surface of the water.

Great Day at UNK for Cross Country, Austin pulled his 6th medal of the year with a 20th place out of 259 runners, Boys placed 9th out of 42 scoring teams and 8 out of 9 runners ran season best times
WWPS was thrilled to accept a $15,000 check from the Cattlemen's Ball to fund health initiatives at our school. Approximately 75 students worked at the event this summer to earn this for the school. A portable whirlpool and weight room additions are planned. #rolltribe

Due the predicted weather for Friday, September 23, the WW Activity’s road-side cleanup has been postponed.
WW Homecoming Kickoff Activites start on Sunday, Sept. 25th at the football field at 6:30 with the announcement of class representatives and king and queen candidates. Students will participate in a class relay race and scavenger hunt before roasting hot dogs and s'mores.

Austin placed 9th today at Malcolm out of 110 varsity runners, the Boys team placed 10 out of 17 teams and over 20 schools. Only Class D team ahead was Freeman at 8th.
