
Bright Arrows childcare staff, Mrs. Burch, and Mrs. Kroll attended No Small Matter this evening at Peru State College. This presentation was about the importance of high quality early childhood education.


This week WWPS is celebrating Week of the Young Child. Today was Music Monday. Bright Arrows Childcare, Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade had a parade around the block to make music together. 🎶 🎵





The Weeping Water Community Boosters recently met and graciously donated funds to support WWPS. They are looking for new members and volunteers. Please talk with one of them during the Honors Night Pancake Feed on May 10th to find out how you can support Boosters. #rolltribe

The Weeping Water Public School Foundation held their first meeting of the year recently. Among topics discussed was a new scholarship that the foundation will manage. The Francis E. Pedersen Scholarship is for graduates of Weeping Water Public School who plan to or are attending a community college or trade school. The student may be taking the classes for credit or non-credit. The scholarship is also available to students at Weeping Water Public School who are enrolled in long-distance learning classes or classes to qualify for employment. Reminder - Kindergarten Information Night is Wednesday, March 23rd at 6:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room. This is for families that will have a Kindergartener starting in August 2022. Please use the main entrance, door #1.


Today middle school students attended their final quiz bowl event of the year. Every grade improved either in rounds won or points scored. Most exciting of all...8th graders are the 2021-2022 season Cass County Quad Quiz Bowl CHAMPIONS!

Elementary students had a blast this afternoon at the grand finale assembly for our Reading Week! We cheered! We laughed! We showed Mrs. Wenzl we were STUCK ON READING by taping her to the wall!
