"Plant the Promise to be Drug Free" is today's Red Ribbon Week message. Elementary students were to plant tulips on the playground to spread this message. Some tulips were planted, but the ground was too hard to plant them all. Your child is bringing home a bulb to plant at home.

We will once again take a spirit bus to the playoff game on Friday. Leave time is 2:10 and they will stop for dinner on the way. Cost to ride is game admission: $6 students, $8 adults. Please contact Mrs. Heath by 4:00 Thursday if interested.

WWPS will dismiss at 2:00pm on Friday, Oct. 28, to allow students/staff to attend the State Playoff Football Game. The game starts at 6:00pm at Laurel. Trunk or Treat is going to be moved to 10am that morning. Friday's Middle School Dance will be postponed to a date to TBD.
