This week is Board of Education Appreciation Week. We appreciate all the work that our board members do for our school district. Elementary teachers continue to spread kindness to each other by awarding one another the Golden Arrow Award. Mrs. Krecklow passed it to Mrs. DeMike for being an awesome mentor and Mrs. DeMike passed it to Mrs. Schafer for being such a helpful colleague. ♥️
WWPS participated in The Great Kindness Challenge this week. The MS HOPE Squad read to the elementary about being bucket fillers, handed out thank you treats to staff, and all K-12 students contributed kindness ideas to our kindness chain.

Indian Wrestling has a busy weekend as the boys team is wrestling today and Friday then the girls are in action Saturday. #rolltribe
The Cass County 4H Extension visited second grade again this week. This time students had the opportunity to build and launch rockets. It was a great hands on learning experience for the second graders. 🚀
This week is national Kindness Challenge Week. The first graders and Mr. Henkel’s tribe teamed up today to spread some kindness. The secondary students read and colored with the elementary kids and they made cards for WWPS teachers.

Girls and Boys BB Games at Peru State College vs Falls City start at 4:00pm on Thursday, Jan. 27th. Girls and Boys JV will only play 2 quarters each. Varsity Girls could potentially start as early as 5:30. Please plan accordingly.
Weeping Water Public Schools has an opening for an evening custodian. This is a full-time position with benefits. The application may be downloaded at www.weepingwaterps.org or picked up from the school office during school hours. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. FYI WWPS parents - Friday, February 4th will be a 1:30 dismissal day. The school district is hosting the ECNC Wrestling Tournament on that Friday.

Indian athletic teams are starting the week off by hosting the Boys JV Wrestling Invite starting @ 4:00 in the main gym along with the Junior High Girls kicking their season off vs Elmwood-Murdock @ 4:30 in the reserve gym. Both gyms will stream action on YouTube at WW Athletics
Lady Indians drop their JV and Varsity games to Lourdes as they celebrated parents night Saturday night. Thank you parents for all the support shown over the years, especially the seniors! #rolltribe
