Our annual Elementary Track and Field Day will take place on Tuesday, May 23rd from approximately 9 am to 11:30 am at the football/baseball field. Please make sure your child has a water bottle, wears tennis shoes, and is dressed appropriately for the weather. PTO will be providing lunches for the students. Parents are welcome to come. You may walk around with your child to the field activities. During the races, please stand on the side or sit in the bleachers.

The Vivace choir & several HS students spent the day last Friday sharing their musical talent with residents of area Assisted Living & Care Centers. Starting in Syracuse, lunch at Valentinos in Nebraska City, sang at the Prestige & ended the day in Louisville. It was a great day!

Today is Nebraska State Fire Day. WWPS thanks all of our volunteer fire fighters for all they do to keep us safe!

Honors Night 2023 is May 16 at 6:30 in the main gym. The Boosters host their annual Pancake Feed starting at 5:00 in the MPR, Boys Basketball has a parent meeting at 6:00 in Mr. Birky's room. Silent Auction for the sports banners will also be taking place throughout the night
Yesterday, some of our Spanish Jrs and Srs had lunch at La Fiesta. They ordered food and interacted with the employees by using the target language, Spanish. It is not an easy task to become fluent when there is not much interaction with the language in the community. Well done!
