
The Weeping Water Public School Foundation held their first meeting of the year recently. Among topics discussed was a new scholarship that the foundation will manage. The Francis E. Pedersen Scholarship is for graduates of Weeping Water Public School who plan to or are attending a community college or trade school. The student may be taking the classes for credit or non-credit. The scholarship is also available to students at Weeping Water Public School who are enrolled in long-distance learning classes or classes to qualify for employment. Today middle school students attended their final quiz bowl event of the year. Every grade improved either in rounds won or points scored. Most exciting of all...8th graders are the 2021-2022 season Cass County Quad Quiz Bowl CHAMPIONS!

Elementary students had a blast this afternoon at the grand finale assembly for our Reading Week! We cheered! We laughed! We showed Mrs. Wenzl we were STUCK ON READING by taping her to the wall!

WWPS took four teams to the ECNC JH & HS Quiz Bowl Tournament in Auburn today: 7th grade, 8th grade, JV & Varsity. The JV team placed 4th, and the 8th grade team came home CHAMPIONS! Oh, yeah!
